“Practice for me is about relaxation and soft exercise. Gentle stretches, holding positions, and focusing only on the breath. I want to be taken to a place of safety, comfort and kindness. That said, Tearlach’s voice, style and understanding of the art makes for a perfect experience and one that you look forward to week after week!”

“Thank you Teàrlach. Your yoga teaching has been a great help to me in training for and running my first marathon. They helped me stay calm, control my breathing, maintain good posture and get enough sleep. I was kind and able to believe in myself. “

“I have really benefited from and enjoy your approach to yoga. I have changed my practice by slowing down and being more mindful. No matter my state of mind and tenseness of body when I leave Tearlach’s practice, I always leave relaxed and at peace”

“For a seventy seven year old woman who had never before tried yoga, Teàrlach’s slow yoga classes have improved my strength, flexibility and concentration. The atmosphere engendered is of awareness of self and others with no element of competition (including one’s own ideals). Gentle humour is also a feature”

“I am now 70 and the exercises we do at Teàrlach’s class help to keep me strong and supple. His class helps me to maintain a good balance between physical and mental wellbeing”

“A truly unique and nourishing yoga experience”…
I've practiced yoga for many years, but I've never experienced classes quite like these. What makes them so special is how deeply personal they feel. Tearlach's sessions are always thoughtfully aligned with the seasons, the energy of nature, and the needs of those in the room. There's a real sense of connection to the earth, to ourselves and to each other.
The atmosphere is just beautiful: soft lighting, cozy blankets, plenty of props and a sense of calm that starts the moment you walk in. It feels like stepping into a little sanctuary, away from the noise of everyday life.
What I really love is how inclusive and welcoming the classes are. Whether you're a complete beginner, recovering from injury, older and looking for a gentle approach or a more experienced yogi like myself, there’s space for everyone here. Each class is adapted with care and intuition; there is never any pressure or ego, just genuine guidance and support.
I leave every session feeling grounded, peaceful and more connected, not just to my body, but to the rhythm of the world around me. I can’t recommend these classes highly enough.
