Looking out into the offing, there's a point where land itself ceases to exist. A space where the sea and the sky meet. Where a sense of introspection behold's you. There is a belief that the sacral chakra, (with its propinquity to water) can be brought into balance here. Mother nature has a powerful ability to draw you in. In listening, sensing and observing, what you learn here makes her one of life's great teachers. I have a compulsion to get closer to the water and so make my way barefoot down onto the shore. Natures debris requires me to watch where I'm treading but thats the beauty in having to slow down, mindfulness then kicks in. I leave the cobbles behind, shingle under foot massages the soles of my feet, the sound harmonising with the rhythmic unfolding of the waves. Breathing in… I see breathing… out I feel…
